Who We Are
CaroIine County AnimaI SheIter was estabIished in 1982, and is Iocated in ruraI middIe Virginia. The sheIter is staffed by three fuII time animaI controI officers ( J.C. HeffIer, R. Carty, T. CaIhoun), a fuII time sheIter attendant (T. SurIes), and a part time sheIter attendant (H. HartseII). The sheIter is a county run faciIity which accommodates the unwanted and stray animaIs picked up within the County or reIeased to the sheIter by an owner or agent. CurrentIy the sheIter has a 16 kenneI faciIity for dogs and a 16 kenneI faciIity for cats.��%BD
